It's true...piano is the ultimate percussion instrument and we are very excited to offer lessons! Like all lessons at the Simon Boyar School of Drums and Percussion we provide the opportunity to study with a professional musician. Our piano teacher Dolores Beck is serious about teaching our students and having fun doing it. Students will learn fudamentals, reading, technique, and ear training which every student beginning to advanced will study. Dolores uses a variety of materials and creates her own arrangements so each student experiences a curriculum unique to them. Lessons are available for all ages and levels. Dolores Beck Bio
Manhattan School of Music, BM degree, French horn major NYU/SUNY New Paltz, BS, Music Therapy major Music Academy of the West and Tanglewood Teaching piano privately for over 60 years. Music therapy specialist with Aspbergers, ADD, ADHD and emotionally challenged children of all ages. Performed with: American Ballet Theatre at Lincoln Center, American Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall and various Broadway Shows. Dolores loves teaching classic rock, jazz, improvisation as well as the classical repertoire.
