Studio Wide Recital

An additional recital at 6pm will be added if sign ups exceed capacity. This is very likely to happen.
All recitals are recorded and posted on YouTube. A personal copy of your performance will be made available as well if requested.
Due to the significant amount of time and effort it takes for us to plan and put on a recital, there are no refunds for recital participation fees. If you sign up and your student decides not to participate, we cannot refund your payment or apply it to the next recital. Thank you for your understanding!
Solo Spotlight Performance
PIANO, GUITAR, and VOICE students included and encouraged!!!
Perform a solo on any instrument of your choice - piano, snare drum, marimba, guitar, voice
Fee $129
Drum Cover or Play Along
Perform a drum cover or play along of your choice. Students are welcome to use their own original music or arrangement. This performance option can also include guitar and/or singing if interested.

Beginner Duo
If you're just starting out but want to experience live performance with a professional musician. Perform a quick 2-4 min jam session with Simon Boyar (blues or basic chord progression,) Please note this will not be a full song. If you would like to do that you must sign up for the Duo Performance below. If you are not in Simon's studio a quick "check in" rehearsal will be scheduled to prepare.

Duo Performance - Rock, Jazz, or Percussion Ensemble! SINGERS Welcomed and Encouraged
Perform a dynamic virtuosic duo of your choice in any style with Simon Boyar. Students often suggest rock covers or jazz standards for this. Students may also select a small percussion ensemble duo.
Fee $375
Rock or Jazz Showcase Performance
Jump into a jazz or rock combo and performance with other musicians. Combos will consist of the student, Simon Boyar, and one additional instrumentalist. For example, a jazz combo would consist of drums, bass, and vibraphone. General rehearsals for this will take place with Simon Boyar and the additional instrumentalist (on a more limited basis) during lessons. Please note that for this offering we will first need to lock in our additional player for rehearsals and the concert.
