A great first djembe and a reliable one for drum circles, classrooms and outdoor jams. The World Beat shell is weatherproof, so humidity and outdoor gigs aren't a worry, and the synthetic head stays consistent from day to day. The traditional rope tuning gets you crisp, cutting slaps on the edge and a deep, round bass tone from the center. It's light enough to carry to a gig or a park session without a fight.
Head: 12.5" synthetic

The 12.5" size is the sweet spot for most players, from older kids through adults. Pair it with a djembe bag if it's going to travel.
