The Yamaha EAD20 is the latest addition to Yamaha's EAD (Electronic Acoustic Drum) series, giving any acoustic kit instant access to added sounds, effects, and click tracks without replacing a single drum or cymbal.

Sensor Unit - A compact, floating-mount sensor clips onto the bass drum hoop and combines a dedicated kick trigger with matched-pair XY stereo condenser microphones, capturing the natural tone of the full kit without interfering with tom placement.

Main Unit - Three Modifier knobs (Reverb, Effect, Trigger) give higher-resolution real-time control over the kit's sound, alongside dedicated Scene, Mic/Trig, Click, and Recorder controls and a built-in color display.

Includes the free EAD Touch and REC'N'SHARE apps for editing scenes and instantly capturing and sharing performances. Supports footswitch or foot controller connection for hands-free scene changes, plus a headphone jack for silent practice.

Drum kit sold separately.
